Following all the necessary safety and health measures, and with a capacity of 30 people, the traditional ChilePork annual event in South Korea was held on May 27. The event was headed by the Chilean Ambassador to South Korea, Gloria Cid, alongside José Miguel Sepúlveda, the Chilean Commercial and Agricultural Attaché. Five specialized media outlets from the B2B segment, the HORECA channel, and 22 local importers attended the event.
Hong-Kyungchul, Agrosuper’s representative in the Asian country, attended in person, while Juan Carlos Domínguez, President of ChileCarne, joined the meeting remotely, and representatives from Chilean exporting companies sent friendly and heartfelt greetings from Chile. After the opening words from the Chilean Ambassador, the attendees enjoyed a delicious meal that included three dishes with Chilean pork.
Local chef Hynki In prepared bourguignon braised pork jowl with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables, steamed pork collar with figs, and blue cheese gratin with roasted pork belly with apple sauce.
