ChilePork attends SIAL China

SIAL, which takes place in Shanghai, China, is one of the most important events in the global food industry. In its 2023 edition, more than 4,000 exhibitors took part and nearly 500,000 visitors attended the fair, making it a key meeting point for the food and beverage industry.

ChileCarne was present at the recent edition of the Food and Beverage Innovation Exhibition (SIAL), the most important industry fair in Asia. During its visit, ChileCarne – association that represents the sectorial brand ChilePork, with which Chilean pork is recognized in different countries of the world – had the opportunity to explore how other countries are presenting their brands, such as Spanish pork and US meat.

The ChileCarne delegation also visited the stand of Agrosuper, whose presence at the event gave the company the opportunity to reconnect with its current and potential customers in person, as well as to learn about new developments in the Chinese market in the last three years. The delegation also visited Chile’s stand, where the Chilean Meat Slaughtering Plant Association, Faenacar, presented the export offer for beef and lamb.

For ChileCarne, participating in fairs of this kind is a valuable opportunity to learn how other countries present their products in Asian markets. It is an opportunity to discover new trends, establish strategic alliances and promote Chilean meat internationally.
