The main purpose of the visit was for the representatives of Zensho Holdings to get a first-hand look at the recent innovations and progress implemented in Coexca’s production.
On a recent visit to Chile, two senior Zensho executives, Kenichiro Matsumoto, Senior Merchandiser, and Yutaro Inoue, Pork Section Manager, visited Coexca’s main processing plant. Zensho Holdings manages restaurant chains throughout Japan and the world: 9,948 restaurants as of March 2021. It also develops systems for food sales and processing. In 2019 it had the highest sales in the Japanese restaurant industry.
Both executives were hosted by Coexca’s General Manager Guillermo García, Business Manager Rolando Contreras, and Exports Manager Francisco Echeverría. They were also joined by Natsuki Aizawa, Coexca’s representative in Tokyo.
Francisco Echeverría emphasized the strength of the business ties that have united both companies for two decades. He pointed out that Japan is the third largest export market for Coexca. “This visit by Zensho executives reinforces our commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety. These are values they prioritize and that we guarantee at each stage of our production process,” Echeverría highlighted.
During the tour, Zensho’s representatives had the opportunity to learn more about the processes that guarantee high-quality pork, and verify the strict international standards followed in production and exports.
