More than 180 people attended the first pig farming business meeting held on August 22nd at the city of Curicó to look back on the history of Chile’s pork industry.
The event brought together the industry’s main stakeholders and was an opportunity to honor the legacy of the pioneers who helped build Chile’s pig farming global leadership and envision a future of innovation and sustainability. With a large turnout, the meeting was a space for emotional reunions, tributes, and heart-felt acknowledgments.
The event started with a review of how the Chilean pork industry has evolved, highlighting the accomplishments and progress that have made the country a model in Latin America.
